Greg Poppy’s passion for helping people, his vast knowledge of properties available on Maui and his love for Hawaiian history make him a standout realtor. After serving four years in the U.S. Air Force, Greg met his wife, Jennifer and they were married in 2003. He began his college career shortly after and graduated with a 3.9 G.P.A. with a Bachelor of History. Their family grew overnight as they adopted their oldest son, then had their second son in 2008. In 2012, Greg and Jennifer felt like it was time to take a leap of faith and they moved their family of four to the island of Maui. Through his journey of making Maui “home”, he and his family have lived on different parts of the island, giving him first-hand knowledge about the benefits of each area.
Greg has served the Maui community in various roles over the years, some of which include as co-founder of Pray Hawaii (a ministry in which needs of the islands are shared via social media), as PTO President of a local school and currently, he is investing his time in the Hawaii education system as a Hawaiian History teacher at a local public school. In his free time, Greg enjoys playing boardgames and body boarding with his children, watching sunsets with his wife and cheering for his favorite football team.
Clients who work with Greg will find his attention to detail, his prompt responses, his care for their wants and his knowledge of the Maui real estate market to be comforting during the home buying and selling process. He obtained his Hawaii State realtor license in 2013 and has a perfect 5-star Zillow rating from his clients, with over $6.5 million in sales. In 2017 he joined the prestigious Wailea Realty Corp., a boutique of Windermere, and looks forward to continuing his journey on Maui with them.
